Baker Hughes BKR has released this week's rig counts. Here's the numbers for Friday June 12th, 2026.....

Baker Hughes Rig Count: down 1 to 562 Rigs
U.S. Rig Count is down 1 from last week to 562 with oil rigs up 2 to 433, gas rigs down 3 to 121 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 8. U.S. Rig Count is up 7 rigs from last year's count of 555 with oil rigs down 6, gas rigs up 8 and miscellaneous rigs up 5. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 2 to 8, down 2 year over year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada is up 11 to 180 Rigs
Canada Rig Count is up 11 from last week to 180 with oil rigs up 6 to 121, gas rigs up 4 to 58 and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 1. Canada Rig Count is up 42 from last year's count of 138 with oil rigs up 30, gas rigs up 11 and miscellaneous rigs up 1.
