Baker Hughes BKR has released this week's rig counts. Here's the numbers for Friday July 10th, 2026.....

Baker Hughes Rig Count: up 1 to 581 Rigs
U.S. Rig Count is up 1 from last week to 581 with oil rigs unchanged at 445, gas rigs unchanged at 126 and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 10. U.S. Rig Count is up 44 rigs from last year's count of 537 with oil rigs up 21, gas rigs up 18 and miscellaneous rigs up 5. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 3 to 14, up 1 year over year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada is down 11 to 179 Rigs
Canada Rig Count is down 11 from last week to 179 with oil rigs down 12 to 118, gas rigs down 1 to 57 and miscellaneous rigs up 2 to 4. Canada Rig Count is up 17 from last year's count of 162 with oil rigs up 6, gas rigs up 7 and miscellaneous rigs up 4.
