U.S. Rig Count is up 1 from last week to 546 with oil rigs up 3 to 412, gas rigs down 2 to 125 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 9. U.S. Rig Count is down 43 rigs from last year's count of 589 with oil rigs down 70, gas rigs up 22 and miscellaneous up 5. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 16, up 2 year over year.
Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada is down 17 to 101 Rigs
Canada Rig Count is down 17 from last week to 101, with oil rigs down 10 to 49, gas rigs down 7 to 52 and miscellaneous unchanged at 0. Canada Rig Count is up 7 from last year's count of 94 with oil rigs up 5, gas rigs up 2 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged.
