Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. up 5 to 554 Rigs
U.S. Rig Count is up 5 from last week to 554 with oil rigs up 2 to 419, gas rigs up 2 to 127 and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 8. U.S. Rig Count is down 29 rigs from last year's count of 583 with oil rigs down 60, gas rigs up 28 and miscellaneous up 3. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 19, up 6 year over year.
Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada is up 7 to 195 Rigs
Canada Rig Count is up 7 from last week to 195, with oil rigs up 4 to 128, gas rigs up 3 to 67 and miscellaneous unchanged at 0. Canada Rig Count is down 6 from last year's count of 201 with oil rigs down 5, gas rigs unchanged and miscellaneous rigs down 1.
