Baker Hughes BKR has released this week's rig counts. Here's the numbers for Friday June 19th, 2026.....

Baker Hughes Rig Count: up 1 to 563 Rigs
U.S. Rig Count is up 1 from last week to 563 with oil rigs unchanged at 433, gas rigs up 1 to 122 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 8. U.S. Rig Count is up 9 rigs from last year's count of 554 with oil rigs down 5, gas rigs up 11 and miscellaneous rigs up 3. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 1 to 9, down 5 year over year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada is up 6 to 186 Rigs
Canada Rig Count is up 6 from last week to 186 with oil rigs up 8 to 129, gas rigs down 2 to 56 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1. Canada Rig Count is up 47 from last year's count of 139 with oil rigs up 36, gas rigs up 10 and miscellaneous rigs up 1.
