U.S. Rig Count is up 2 from last week to 585 with oil rigs up 1 to 481, gas rigs up 1 to 98 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 6. U.S. Rig Count is down 34 rigs from last year's count of 619 with oil rigs down 30, gas rigs down 8 and miscellaneous up 4. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 13, down 7 year over year.
Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada is down 4 to 134 Rigs
Canada Rig Count is down 4 from last week to 134, with oil rigs down 4 to 87, gas rigs unchanged at 47 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 0. Canada Rig Count is up 7 rigs from last year's count of 127 with oil rigs up 27, gas rigs down 20 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged.
